FAQ

What is a touring agreement?

A Showami touring agreement is an agreement that creates a fee for service arrangement. You are able to pay to view homes and are not obligated to use the agent who opened the door for you.

Can I view a home without an agent representing me?

Yes. The purpose of Showami's touring agreement is to provide limited service for a fee. The agent who shows you the property under this agreement does not obligate you into a representation agreement. If you choose to do business with that agent, an agency relationship agreement between you and that agent/brokerage will need to be agreed to outside of Showami.

Can I view a home without an agent?

No. On Showami only licensed real estate agents/brokers are allowed to show properties.

Do I need to sign an agreement with the agent touring me through the home?

The Showami touring agreement is required to be signed prior to viewing properties. That agreement is with a licensed real estate broker/agent. The agreement allows that agent to delegate the actual property showing to another agent. Since you have an agreement in place, no additional agreement is required with the showing agent.

Can I choose to work with the agent showing me the property?

Yes. If you choose to work with the agent who showed you the property, that agreement will be in writing between you and that agent.
